The assignment was "portraits." I didn't want to do a classic photograph, something that's pretty and common, something like a senior picture or a yearbook photo. I chose to portray human emotions and all of their variety. The face is beyond expressive, it is its own canvas of emotions every second of every day.
Shot in 35mm black and white film and printed in the dark room.
