Many brides after they get married got out and do what's called "Trash Your Dress," where a photographer follows them throughout various locations where the brides can completely ruin their dress in any way they want to. Many end up getting wet or covered in forms of mud or dirt. There was a dress at David's Bridal where I am a wedding consultant that was on sale, it was originally $950, but with the sale and my discount I bought it for a whopping $75. Who could pass that up, right? [Though I did get a lot of people saying, "You bought a WHAT?!" until I could explain what it was for.] Anyways... so my manager volunteered to be the model [thanks Shawn!], which I was delighted about. Even though she looks a little older than the traditional bride, she's got a spunk about her that makes her so much fun. Plus I knew she'd do anything I asked.
We spent about six hours together walking around campus and through the park, as well as downtown. After hours of giggling until we couldn't giggle anymore, and various new ideas flowing in the conversation, we ended up with a little over 400 shots to work with. I've edited a few, cut out A LOT, and here you have them. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed shooting them. Some are more traditional, while others.... I guess you'll see for yourself.

Emily! The pics are awesome! Shawn told me about them and I have been meaning to check them out forever! Good job, I am sure it was a ton of fun! :)
so i think you should just ditch college and open your own studio. haha, j/k, finish your education, stay in school, blah blah blah... but hey, all i'm sayin is judging by these pics, you could have a career doing weddings... or pretty much whatever else you wanted.
